Field studies in different types of rice production systems in the United States, Brazil, The Philippines and China, have all delivered consistent results showing that urea treated with AGROTAIN® nitrogen stabiliser can reduce NH3 losses and achieve higher yields at a lower application rate11.
During trials in Brazil12 and Arkansas13, USA, on flood-irrigated systems, urea treated with AGROTAIN® nitrogen stabiliser showed the greatest protection of the nitrogen applied regardless of the amount of time before irrigation took place.
